This one's for you Auntie!

Today while chatting with E in the kitchen I had a good laugh. Anyone not from Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area may not appreciate this as much as I did, but for those of you from 'the Soo', you will laugh too! For the record, my sister lives in Sault Ste. Marie.

The conversation started something like this...

Me: Emery your walking like an elephant today.
E: What does that mean?

Me: Your heavy on your feet, like an elephant (boom boom boom).
E: That's not an elephant, elephants are quiet.

Me: No, elephants walk heavy. We'll have to go to the zoo sometime so you can see.
E: Ya. We'll have to call Auntie and she can take us.

Me: Oh ya, did Auntie say she wanted to go to the zoo.
E: No, Auntie lives in the zoo!

E: (thinking about it)... ah ... well I don't think she lives in a zoo, but something like that, eh?
Me: (thinking about it - laughing) ... why would you think Auntie lives a zoo?

E: Cause you always say, lets call her in the zoo.
Me: (dying of laughter) oh... you mean the Soo, not the zoo.

E: (laughing) ya that's what I said... the zoo! Does she live near elephants?
Me: Haha - I don't think so, but ... ya never know in the Soo!
