Yummy Earth Lollipops

I have been meaning to write this post for a while now... but just haven't gotten around to it until now! A month or so ago I picked up a pack of these Yummy Earth Organic Lollipops at Winners (of all places).  I was checking out and they were staring me in the face for a good 5 minutes while I waited. Since E LOVES suckers, I thought, organic? sure... why not! So I got him the pack and brought them home.

Turns out these are not just any suckers, they are the best. suckers. ever. Seriously, if you haven't a chance to try them... do it! They have many awesome flavours like pomegranate pucker, mango tango, and strawberry smash,  and they are not like a regular sucker at all.  For starters they last a lot longer than those crap suckers everyone gives out at Halloween, and they are practically good for you (in comparison to all the other competing junk food out there). They are gluten-free, nut-free, and the best of all there is no corn syrup in them, or chemical colours. They are made with real fruit extract, which to be honest, I could give two hoots about that when its just for me, but when I'm offering them to my kids, that is a huge selling factor.

My little taste-tester E is also a BIG fan. He loves them! They have become my clutch treat for him... I carry at least one in my pocket at all times for emergencies... like a long line at the busy grocery store, or if we are stuck in traffic on the 417. They do the trick, and then some.

I know this post sounds like a paid endorsement, but trust me, its not. Its just when I find something I love, I feel the need to share. I had a friend over earlier this week and we were chatting about taking our toddlers and newborns to the grocery store, and how to control the situation, and that's when I started raving about these suckers to her. From that conversation, I realized our family sized bag was in low supply (given that PC and I eat just as many of these bad boys, if not more, than E does)!

Looks like you can order these yummy treats on-line at www.yummyearth.ca or if you're like me... today, I just returned to Winners/Home Sense and purchased the last three bags they had on the shelf (at a discounted price - of course)! I also picked up the Yummy Earth gummy bears too... as I'm betting they are equally as good.

Have you ever tried the Yummy Earth lollipops? What did you think? What is your favourite flavour?
